Janice, I´m so sorry for your loss. Gene was one of a kind, always smiling when we worked for the USDA. I remember meeting some of his relatives/friends when we worked in Saudi Arabia, over 40 years ago. I am uplifting you with my love and prayers.

I met Gene back in the 1950s. His parents and my parents, Rip & Cleo Bailey were friends. My Dad and I would help on the Ranch, Howard was managing. I was always impressed with Gene's guitar picking ability. I also worked with Gene while he was working at the USDA..He will be missed and I will pray for the repose of his soul!!

I am sorry for your loss. I worked as the Unit secretary when Gene worked at the USDA lab on F&B road. One can´t forget his love of music and that smile! Prayers for your family as you remember all the good times of a life well lived.
