Dear Dr Plosser,
As former student of Prof. Allan Meltzer and an assiduous attendant to SOMC meetings. In them, I always appreciated your deeply clarifying work and opinions. America and all of us will miss you dearly.
May you rest in peace.

Whenever I saw President Plosser in the hallways or in the cafeteria, he always had a smile on his face. He appeared approachable and kind. I really liked that about him.
To his family, I send my condolences and know that he touched many lives and exuded confidence and friendliness. I wish you the best during this time.
