Joe was a very good friend of my daddy, Harry Benjamin, when we first moved to Alabama in 1963 until he passed two years ago. Daddy talked about him being a graduate assistant for Dale Carnegie for him in Tuscaloosa right after we moved here and they would ride together each week and it became an education in southern culture for Daddy! Daddy was old enough to be Joe´s father, but they were fast friends and talked politics and finances. My deepest condolences, but I know that Joe was a believer and had Jesus in his heart! He and Daddy are probably together in heaven right now discussing things just like they used to!

Joe was my best male friend from 1967 until his death. Joe was a close friend of my Daddy´s who passed away in 1980. Joe did so much to help my mother and me in our hunting business, our store and cattle farm. Joe was also close to my daughter, Belinda and said a beautiful prayer at her memorial service. He was like a member of our family. I would need a book to list all the things he did for us. I am the only one of my family left here on earth but I would guarantee my family and Joe had a great reunion when he got to Heaven., I will miss and love my friend until I see him in Heaven. Watch over all the cattle in Heaven, Joe. Love and prayers for Heath and Andrea and all of Joe´s family. See you later dear friend .

We know that death will come to us all as the Bible says there´s a time to be born, and a time to die however it does not make the departure any easier. My condolences to Joe´s family, children and grandchildren and especially to his good friend Ron Golden. The years go swiftly by and I know Joe Fant will not be forgotten.
