It is with profound sadness to share that Jordan Chase Patterson passed away on January 14, 2025.
Jordan was born on December 2, 1998, in Marshall, TX to John Calvin Patterson and Diana Almeida. He grew up in Marshall, White Oak and Frisco, TX and was a 2017 graduate of Heritage High School.
Jordan’s innate curiosity and thirst for knowledge were evident throughout his life; from exploring serious topics to asking lighthearted questions. He sought to understand the world around him fully. His inquisitive nature led him on many journeys across the country, yet he always returned home to his family and friends, the cornerstone of his life.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents Antonio Hernandez Almeida, Frank Hayden Patterson, Loretta Jeanette Patterson, Carol Ann Choate and his uncle Armando Almeida.
He is survived by his father, John Patterson and wife, Amy; his mother, Diana Choate and husband, Nathan; siblings Jonathan Patterson and wife Jamye, Tayler Patterson Durham and husband Aaron, Grace Choate, and Joshua Patterson; grandparents Olga Almeida, James Choate, Beth Griffin, Clifford Griffin, Gary Hartman, and Gina Hartman, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, his cherished niece and his beloved dog, Artimis.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Crossroads Baptist Church in Marshall, TX at 3:00 pm, with Pastor Derek Hicks officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
