LOIS ANNAND Obituary

ANNAND, Lois Glowacki (DiCicco) Age 79, of Norwood, died in Boston on May 27, 2025, surrounded by her family. Lois Christine DiCicco was born in Boston on Columbus Day, October 12, 1945, to Mary Long DiCicco and Louis DiCicco. She graduated from Norwood High School in 1963. She was the youngest of three daughters, Mary "Sweet" Barbara Roof and Jennie Yeomans. She was happily married to her best friend, Robert Annand, for 24 years and resided in Foxborough. In 1969, she had married Kenneth Glowacki of Dorchester and raised two sons, Michael (1973) and David (1976). They resided in Jamaica Plain and relocated to Dedham in 1978. Lois spent her time in sales at Tiffany & Co. and, in recent years, volunteered at The Bethany House Hope Chest in Millis, where she shared her vast knowledge of jewelry and fashion to the nuns, raising money for the ministry. She was always known to lend a helping hand. She leaves behind Robert Annand; her two sons, Michael and David Glowacki; her niece Barbara Roof Boyle and spouse Robert Boyle, their children, Rachael & Abe Agayby and Josh & Samantha Boyle (auntie Lois loved you very much); her nephews, Michael & Joanne Roof, Ronald & Cheryl Roof, and Scott and Chris Yeomans; as well as many more extended family and friends. When you met her, you wouldn't forget her! Known for her beauty, charisma and gorgeous red hair, Lois possessed a great sense of humor that kept the whole world laughing. She said what she wanted, when she wanted. She was always kind and generous. She was, and will always be... fabulous.
