I have so many fond memories of MSJA, and Sister Beth´s cheerful attitude and warm smile is high on the list. Her family and the other sisters in Clarence are in my prayers.

Fond memories of this woman indeed. I was struggling with a lot of things in my life, including with religious people and she was one who helped me learn that religious people are also fallible, and they need God's help as much as We Lay people do. It's lesson that I have not forgotten, so when I've had issues with people of the cloth, I had to remember that this is not God's doing but a person's doing. It helped me move on and upwards with my faith. Godspeed sister Beth.
There were times that I wondered what she thought about me, and I think all that was laid to rest, that one day where a friend in need is a friend indeed happened between the two of us. There were a number of graduation parties happening on a particular day and she knew I was fortunate enough to have inherited my grandfather's car so I had wheels and she wanted to help celebrate with some of the students, and she asked me if she could tag along with me. I felt a little uncomfortable at first, but it was definitely a remarkable day in my life that I will never forget that I went around from party to party with sister Beth celebrating the accomplishments of a number of seniors. How many people get to say the thing that I have said for pure entertainment value that I want around all night long hurting with a nun? LOL my wife, my children, and my grandchildren know that story, it was a very satisfying day.
Godspeed sister Beth

I knew Sister Beth when I cooked at the Sisters OF St. Joseph on Main St. Clarence. She always said hi and would give you, her smile. I couldn't believe it when I saw this in the paper this morning. Sad she was a fine woman and always showed me respect when I would come and visit there after leaving. Another good one gone from the nunnery.
