Of Depew, age 82, passed away peacefully in Brunswick, GA, surrounded by his loving family. Richard was the son of the late Louis Karl Brossard & Kathryn Emma Brossard. Richard was the beloved husband to Recail (nee Milani) for 61 years, loving father to Darlene Warnke (Randy), Steven (Cathy) and Recail Deborah Armstrong (David). Proud grandfather of 5 grandchildren, Randal Thomas, Matthew, Jason, Christopher and Amanda as well as a great-grandfather to Kaylee, Vincent, Sebastion, Charli Jane, Hudson and Henry. Loving brother to the late Louis (Teresa), late David (Barbara), and Kathy (Doug). Relatives and friends may visit the NEW COMER CREMATIONS & FUNERALS, 5090 Transit Rd., Depew (near Como Park Blvd.) on Saturday, October 18th from 2-4PM. Leave condolences at www.newcomerbuffalo.com.

I was quite distressed to learn of Rich's passing. We became good friends thanks to our Ham radio licenses. We talked nearly every night on the air. I also had the great honor of meeting Rich and his wife in western New York state when I was doing radio play-by-play of a local baseball team. We played a team in Jamestown, NY, and Rich and his wife drove over to meet me. We had a lovely lunch, and of course talked about ALL kinds of radio. I shall miss him and our frequent radio visits.
