Connor Evenson Obituary

Connor Evenson, 19

Connor Evenson 19, of Priest River, Idaho was called home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Easter night April 20, 2025. Born on Christmas Eve, Connor was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend whose radiant spirit and unwavering faith touched all who knew him.

From a young age, Connor's life was a testament to his deep love for Jesus, and his commitment to his faith was evident in everything he did. He lived with kindness, humility, and a servant's heart, always ready to lend a helping hand or share an encouraging word. His joy was contagious, and his laughter could light up any room.

Connor's passion and what brought him pure joy was his job at the Salvation Army Kroc Center in Coeur d'Alene. Anyone who had the joy of witnessing Connor's work at the Kroc Center would agree that he did everything with a true sense of happiness. Connor had a genuine heart for service, particularly shining when checking in members for group exercise classes. Connor had a remarkable ability to connect with people, making them feel the love of Christ in a profound way. His affection for the Kroc was evident; he treated it like it was his own child. This passion reflected in his exceptional work ethic, consistently exceeding expectations not only in his own role but also helping co-workers within the whole Kroc Center. Connor's joy was felt throughout the whole Kroc Center, whether he was dancing, cleaning machines, filling bottles, or doing any small tasks, Connor was always happy and ready to help.

He is survived by his loving parents, Joseph and Juliana Evenson; his sister, Kylie Davis and her husband, Conner Davis; his niece, Skylar; grandparents, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.

A celebration of Connor's life will be held on May 3rd at 10:00 A.M. at the Kroc Center Worship Theater in Coeur d'Alene where we will honor his memory and the profound impact he had on our lives. All are welcome to attend and share in remembering the beautiful life Connor lived.

Connor was someone who breathed life into others, his relationship with the Lord impacted so many people, including myself. He and I attended Isucceed Virtual High School and during that time he was the only student who wanted to be a friend of mine. He and I would talk and call, he would always cheer me up when I was going through a rough patch, had a light that was beautiful. Connor, thank you for standing strong and a great friend! I will miss you dearly, I want you to know that I love ya and I'll see you in Heaven one day.

I started going to the Kroc Center about a year ago. For the past four months, Connor was my view while I was on the treadmill.. There wasn´t a day I was there, that Connor wasn´t. Whether he was writing in the scheduling book, cleaning the machine next to me or getting bandages from the first aid kit, he always said hello with a smile. You could tell the pride Conner took in his daily duties. Conner is deeply missed already and will be forever.
