Charlotte, North Carolina - Nancy E. (Rea) Barriere, 90, of Charlotte, NC, passed away on August 21, 2025. She was born on January 15, 1935, in Matthews, NC, to the late Louie Price Rea and Lottie Champion Rea.
Nancy attended Indian Trail High School, earning her GED and later completing secretarial school. She proudly served in the U.S. Air Force, where she met her beloved husband, Roger E. Barriere. They were married in 1958 and enjoyed a life of travel.
She is predeceased by her husband, Roger; and siblings Lucile Dempsey, Edith Flower, Hazel Rea, Sam Rea, Bonnie Matthews, and Dwight Rea.
Nancy is survived by her children, Marie and Joseph Barriere; sisters Billie and Rachel Rea; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family who will miss her dearly.
