Elizabeth Papineau Obituary

Papineau, Elizabeth (Betty)

With deep sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Elizabeth "Betty" Papineau on 12/8/2024 at the age of 71.

Betty was a long-time resident of the south side of Chicago who grew up and raised her family in Canaryville where she attended St. Gabriel School and Church. She spent the last 13 years calling Naples FL home and loved to spend her time gardening and enjoying the nature and beauty that surrounded her, but her greatest happiness came from the love she had for her Husband, Family and Friends. A beautiful and wonderful woman whose kind heart and love touched countless people throughout her life.

Loving and devoted wife to Robert for 52 years, they built a beautiful home and family together. She is survived by husband Robert "Bob" Papineau and her four children, Ann (Robert), Beth, Robert (Eva) and David whom she loved dearly. Wonderful and proud Grandmother of Anastasia, Tristan, Dalton, Gaven, Jesica, Gabriel (Chassity) Lucas, Ethan, Jake, David and Brianna and treasured Great Grandmother to Amelia, Hayven, Greyson and Iyla. She is also survived by her sister Sue and countless nieces, nephews and cousins.

Loving daughter and sister to her late parents and siblings, Robert and Elizabeth Kulovitz, her brother Bob (Joan), and her sisters Mary Ann (Jack), Linda (Tom) and Kathy.

She will be missed deeply by so many, but her love and memories will carry on through all of us.

A memorial mass and Celebration of Life will be held on January 11, 2025 at 11:00 at St. Gabriel Church located at 600 W. 45th Street Chicago, IL 60609
