William "Bill" Paskel House
DUNN - Mr. William "Bill" Paskel House, 85, of Dunn, NC & Arrowhead Beach, NC passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at UNC Chapel Hill Medical Center.
He was born on September 20, 1939, to the late Willie Mack and Mozelle Lloyd House. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Ashley House Barefoot, and brother Joseph House.
Bill served in the Navy on the USS Ticonderoga Battleship. He worked for McDonnell-Douglas Aircraft Company, The George C. Moore Co., and Erwin Mills for many years. Bill had a sharp wit, infectious smile, and a dry sense of humor. He enjoyed golfing, Yankee's Baseball, and westerns. Most of all he loved his family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, July 5, 2025 at Skinner & Smith Funeral Home Chapel by Chief Petty Officer Jacob Munro. Burial will follow at Erwin Memorial Park.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Retha House; son, William A. House (Kim); daughter Michelle Burgess (Christopher); sister Elma West; grandchildren, Douglas Copeland (Veronica), Samantha Burgess, Jacob Burgess, William A. House, Jr., Deanna House; great grandchildren, Carmen and Diego Copeland; and grand fur babies, Blue and Biscuit.
