SFC Tribble Obituary

SFC Larry Tribble, Jr, U.S. Army (Ret), age 81 of Beverly Hills, FL passed away July 10, 2025 in Ocala. Larry was a Citrus County native, born in Hernando, FL on June 29, 1944 to the late Larry Sr and Rhubell Smith Tribble

He served our country for 23 years in the U.S. Army, completing a tour in Vietnam as a tank commander and later as a recruiter for his branch of service. His place of worship was Meadowbrook Church in Ocala.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 43 years, Sheila Clark Tribble of Beverly Hills and their daughter, Sheivon Tribble of Beverly Hills. Three children from a previous marriage; Larry Tribble, III of Tampa; Stacy Tribble of Orlando; Sonia Tribble of Beverly Hills; 1 brother, James Tribble of Naples, FL; 1 sister, Alice Hayes of Gainesville, FL; two Goddaughters: Larrisha William; Lucinda Simmons; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ernest Tribble and two sisters, Evalyn Tribble and Evelyn Richardson.

Friends may call on Wednesday from 5-7 PM at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home. Military graveside services will follow on Thursday, July 17, 2025 at 1:30 PM from Florida National Cemetery. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Thursday and join the procession to the cemetery which will depart at 12:30 PM.
