Christine Rainone Obituary

Christine Alma Rainone (Wulf), 84, of Cleveland, Ohio, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2025.
Born on October 5, 1940, to Clifford and Justine Wulf, Christine was a proud graduate of Shaw High School, Class of 1958. She was a beloved sister to Joyce, Barbara, and Marianne (all deceased), and is survived by her sisters Cliffette and Robin.
Christine's greatest joy in life came from her family. She was a devoted mother to Patricia (married to Ivar Manning), Rebecca (married to Timothy Smith), Elizabeth (widow of the late Ronald Nawalaniec), and Peter. Her legacy lives on through her grandchildren: Christopher and Ivar Manning, and Joe (engaged to Rylee Jensen) and Jodi Nawalaniec (married to Evan Graham). Recently, she became a proud great-grandmother to Arthur and Maeve Graham, Jodi and Evan's two children.
Christine was married to the late Louis Rainone for over 20 years. Together, they built a home full of love, laughter, and sweetness - quite literally. She was a well-known lover of all things sweet - especially ice cream - and she never missed a chance to indulge in or share a treat with someone she loved.
She had a passion for shopping, giving gifts, and fashion - always dressed to impress and happiest when surprising someone she loved with something thoughtful. Christine was also a tireless cheerleader for people with disabilities - inspired by her grandson Ivar - and believed deeply in the value and dignity of every individual. She applied that energy into her own life, becoming a tireless worker in boxing class and other exercise classes into her 80s.
Christine loved walking her dog, chatting with neighbors around Farnsworth Drive in Parma, and bringing light to everyone in her path. Her vibrant spirit, deep generosity, and unwavering love for her family will be dearly missed.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 7, 2025, at 12:30 p.m. at St. Charles Church in Parma, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Christine's memory to the Amalia Foundation, a non-profit that supports people with Parkinson's disease with exercise classes and other resources. She would also approve of eating an ice cream cone or two in her memory.
