Margaret Jones Obituary

Margaret Marion Jones was born on July 10, 1938, just outside of Hot Springs Arkansas to Roy and Ruth McRee. She passed away on August 12, 2025, at the age of 87, surrounded by her loving family. Margaret was raised in Lawson and Idaho Springs and graduated from Clear Creek High School. Margaret married William L. Jones on September 6, 1965, in Idaho Springs. They welcomed two children and lived in Idaho Springs until 1977. The family moved to Eagle, where they lived for the next 45 years. After the death of her husband, Margaret moved to Georgetown and lived with her daughter.
Margaret is preceded in death by her parents, a sister (Alice Jo O'Donnell), a brother (Thomas McRee) and her husband William (2017). She is survived by her children, Cynthia of Georgetown and Bradley (Dominique) of Silt, her two granddaughters, Shayden and Taelia Jones, and her sister Mary MacKenzie of Greeley as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Margaret was well loved by all and will be missed.
