Phyllis Scott Obituary

Phyllis Scott

Phyllis Scott was born on March 10th, 1940 in Orofino, ID to Leo Henry Wilkinson and Lorraine Kroll and peacefully departed this life on January 1st, 2025, holding the hands of loved ones.

Phyllis leaves behind a family who loved her: Dennis Scott (son) & Debbie Essex (daughter), Marty Ochocinski, Michael Essex, Colleen Hatch & Chase Essex (grandchildren). She is preceded in death by her husband, Roger Scott and son, Michael Scott.

Throughout her life, Phyllis touched the hearts of everyone who had the blessing of knowing her. She had a lively spirit who loved to laugh and talk people's ear off, a soul that loved to sing, and a deep love for her family and friends.

Phyllis spent her years doing what mattered most to her: playing sports in her youth, loving her family, showing up to support her grandchildren, and finding joy in the everyday moments. Whether it was playing football, cooking meals or singing songs and laughing. Phyllis brought warmth and sometimes even a little orneriness to those around her.

She will be remembered not just for what she did, but for who she was - a mother, grandma, sibling, aunt and friend. She will live on in the lives she touched and the lessons she passed on.

Though she is no longer with us in body, her spirit will remain in our hearts forever. We celebrate her life today with gratitude, and we honor the gift of having known and loved her.

A service will be held July 19th at 11am at The Church of Latter Day Saints at 1849 Nelson Rd, Moses Lake, WA.
