John was the type of man that had no enemies and only friends to all that met him. A true human, John is someone we should all aspire to be one day. A family man, a man of god and a true friend to all that knew him. He surely will be missed.

John was a favorite hp colleague and friend - one of the first people we met when moving to Camas in 2000. Always calm and unflappable, and a great sense of humor. I'll never forget John giving me a hard time about all the gear I used in our early fly fishing trips - he was usually in shorts and tennis shoes.
He will be missed.

John told me that he received a box of Chinese moon cake with multiple individual packs inside, he said the sprinkle included in the individual pack tastes terrible though it looks nice, it turns out the sprinkle is preservative and not eatable, both of us laughed for quite a while.
