Kenneth J. Eaton, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2025, in Temple, Texas. Born on February 11, 1948, Kenneth lived a life rich with love and family.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
Kenneth cherished spending time with his loved ones, particularly his grandkids and great-grandkids, who brought him immense joy. He was fondly known for his hobbies, which included river fishing and rooting for the Dallas Cowboys, reflecting his vibrant spirit and passion for life. His love for family was evident in every interaction, as he dedicated himself to nurturing relationships and creating lasting memories.
Professionally, Kenneth was a man of many trades, showcasing his remarkable versatility and skills throughout his career. He also served as a Deacon at Youngsport Baptist Church, where he made significant contributions to his community and exemplified his deep faith.
Kenneth is survived by his loving spouse, Mary Whiteside; sons Billy Eaton of Troy, TX, and Donnie Eaton of Salado, TX; daughter Kimberly Eaton of Pagosa Springs, Colorado; along with ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren who will remember him fondly.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Betty Pierce, formerly of Troy, TX; Gladys Wood, formerly of Belton, TX; Pearl Gober, formerly of Moody, TX; and his brother, Roy Wayne Eaton, formerly of Belton, TX.
Kenneth J. Eaton leaves behind a legacy of love, devotion, and faith, forever etched in the hearts of those who knew him. His presence will be deeply missed but his memory will continue to inspire and comfort all who were blessed to have him in their lives.
