Denise Johnson Obituary
Denise was born on January 19, 1964, in Victorville, California, and was the daughter of Donald Lee and Jane Bokay Dawley. She was a teacher. Denise was a member of Ashland Church in Richmond. She loved singing in the choir and serving with youth programs.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, David Johnson; one son, Paul Johnson; one daughter, Jennifer Jane Cowlishaw (Samuel); two grandchildren, Spirit Cowlishaw and Malika Cowlishaw; and two brothers, Donald W. Dawley and Douglas L. Dawley.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home, with Pastor Eric Turner officiating.
Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until the time of service on Thursday, at the funeral home.

I just received word of Denise´s passing and want to send my condolences to David, Paul, Jennifer and her parents. I have precious memories of our lives together here in Georgia and the friendship we shared as well as our girls playing together. Gods peace as you carry on with the life and legacy that she left for all.
