Norma Hawkins, age 85, of Russellville, died Monday, January 27, 2025, in Russellville. She was born March 11, 1939, in Poplar Grove, to Eugene Coleman and Hilley Ernestine Blair DeCamp.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, William and Floyd DeCamp; and a sister, Rosemary Brown.
She is survived by her loving husband, Walter Hawkins Sr.; four sons and
daughters-in-law, Walter Hawkins Jr., Sid and Alley Hawkins, Mike and Rebecca Hawkins and Clinton and Ronda Hawkins; a daughter, Jean-Marie Hawkins; a sister, Lavenia
Gregory; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, January 31, 2025, at Grace Missionary Baptist Church, with Pastor Roger Pierceofficiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.
