James Gabel Obituary

SAN JOSE, CALIFORNIA - James H. Gabel. Well, hello there, I am James "Jim" Gabel and I was born in the early spring of 1958 to my beloved parents Lawrence and Genevieve (nee Weaver) Gabel.

Growing up in Florida and Washington State, I eventually served my country in the USAF and saw the world. I became an electrical engineer and settled in Northern California, having many friends and family while living my best life.

God has now called me home, on Wednesday, January 29, 2025. Sadly I leave behind my brother David (Gina) Gabel in Ohio and my half-brothers Kent and Ernest Gabel, somewhere in Florida. I'll put in a good word for you all and hope to see you someday.

A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Riverside Cemetery Veteran Section with Deacon Jeff Mayer officiating. Military Honors will be conducted by VFW #3360.

Schaffer Funeral Home was honored to assist the family with arrangements.
