Charles Miller Obituary
Charles J Miller, age 90, of Trumbull, died peacefully at his home on Sunday, March 2, 2025. He was the husband of Mary Ann (Padur) Miller.
Born in Bridgeport to the late Charles L Miller and Irene Appleby Miller Baraga and had been a Trumbull resident for 40 years. He retired from Carpenter Steel, where he had been employed as a supervisor in the chemical department. Mr. Miller had served in the US Army and had been stationed in Germany. He and Mary Ann enjoyed many years of travel throughout Europe and the United States and he loved taking road trips.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Catherine (Frank) Cuzzi and Charles Miller; grandchildren, Charles Miller and Nathalia Miller; brother, Herbert Baraga; sister Irene Zampedri: and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters, Joanne Kondakor and Beverly Zucamaglio: and step-brother John Barago and step-sister Mary Jane Baraga.
Friends may call TODAY, Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Pistey Funeral Home, now located at 2611 Main St., Stratford. Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Thursday at 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home and at 10:00 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Church with a Mass of Christian Burial. Dear Mary Ann, Cathy and Chuckie,
My deepest condolences on the loss of your husband and father. Having worked with him for 19 years in the lab at Cartech, I have so many fond memories. He was a fun loving guy who was always laughing or making people laugh. When I started at Cartech, he was my supervisor and taught me so much. We went on to be great friends and co-workers. He will be sadly missed.
