David Damiani Obituary

David James Damiani
Born: April 29, 1957 in St. Paul, MN
Died: July 19, 2025 in Marinette, WI
David James Damiani, 68, of Kirkland, IL, passed away unexpectedly on July 19, 2025 in Marinette, WI at Aurora Medical Center-Bay Area. He was born on April 29, 1957 to the late Louis and June (Verrette) Damiani in St. Paul, MN. David graduated from Rosemount High School Class of 1975 and went on to get his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration at the University of Minnesota. He married Penny Raboin on August 30, 1986 in Daggett, MI. David pursued a career in aviation and flew as a Pilot for American Airlines for 29 years.
David retired to Daggett to fulfill his lifelong dream of having a self-sustained farm. Dave enjoyed caring for the local wildlife, making sure there was sufficient food to feed all the birds, turkeys, deer, bear, or other creatures that would wander onto his property. David was also an avid hunter and enjoyed long trips on his motorcycle. Dave joined a community of friends at Saz's Pub and was fondly known as "Fly Boy" and "Egg Man."
Dave loved his family dearly and looked forward to times where they could travel and share stories together while bird watching or around a camp fire. Dave is survived by his loving wife, Penny (Raboin) Damiani, and his children Dustin Damiani (Ged) and Logan Damiani (Libby).
Instead of flying airplane wings, he now soars On Eagles Wings.
In keeping with David's wishes, a celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Anderson-Diehm Funeral Home is assisting the Damiani family with arrangements.
