Gregory Scott Bidstrup, 61, passed away on April 29, 2025, at Alden Debes Nursing Home in Rockford. He was born November 5, 1963, to F. Wayne and Kalah (Olson) Bidstrup.
Greg was raised in the Lee/Shabbona area and attended Lee and Shabbona schools. He was a loving son, brother, and uncle.
Greg is survived by his sisters, Tammy (Dan) Johnson of Waterman, Lesa (Bryant) Clanin of Paw Paw; brothers, Harland (Jane) Bidstrup of Tomahawk, WI and John (Lori) Bidstrup of Cortland; his loving nieces and nephews, whom he adored, Kyle and Micky Johnson of Waterman, Danessa (Brad) Iversen of Paw Paw, Austin (Courtney) Clanin of Paw Paw, Logan (Emilea) Clanin of Davis Junction, Emily and Anna Bidstrup and Jacob (Caitlan) Bidstrup of Kings; great-nieces and great-nephews, Conner, Harper, and Kaylie Johnson, Walker and Evelyn Iversen, Aiden Clanin, and Axel Bidstrup.
Greg is preceded in death by his mother, father, and grandparents, Harland and Virgina Olson and Frank and Anna Bidstrup.
Funeral services will be private with burial at North Clinton Cemetery in Waterman. Memorials can be directed to Torman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 357, Paw Paw, IL 61353 for a memorial to be established by the family. Please visit www.TormanFuneralHome.com to sign the online guest book.
