William Gillen Obituary

William "Bill" Gillen

William "Bill" Gillen, 92, was born to eternal life on July 3, 2025.

Proud grandfather of sixteen, great-grandfather of six, and devoted brother, uncle, and friend.

A graduate of Fenwick High School and St. Joseph's College, Bill served in the U.S. Army in Europe before a long career in electronic security and fire protection.

A lifelong Catholic, he was a Eucharistic minister, a Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus, and active in the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. He cherished family gatherings, Carolina vacations, and traveling the world with Peach. A lifelong Cubs fan, he often said, "Who could ask for more?"
