Walter Castle Obituary

Walter T Castle, known as Tom Castle, has gone to be with the Lord on March 13, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones at home. He leaves behind a loving wife, Carrie Castle, four children ( Tommy and Romana Castle; Fred Castle; Pam Mazzone; and David and Wendy Castle), and seven grandchildren (Stacey and Brian Sherman; Emily and Trent Thomas; Whitney Wages; John Herring; and Hayes Castle), and two great grandchildren (Alex and Ashley Sherman). The legacy that he leaves behind is one of kindness, joyfulness, and friendship. His unwavering faith in the Lord and the love of his family were the cornerstones of his life.
Tom retired from the Air Force and moved to Memphis, TN in 1967. He and his family attended Southland Baptist Church where he served in several leadership positions. He held many jobs over the years, from working for the Federal Aviation Administration to being a greeter at Sam's Club in Tupelo, MS. He was a steady and cheerful face on Saturdays at the Sanctuary Village Thrift store in Tupelo. He was also a faithful member of First Baptist Church Baldwyn.
