Charles Clifton Thomas, 62, of Palmyra, VA, passed away at his residence on Sunday, September 22, 2024. He was the son of the late Preston G. Rickard Sr., and was also predeceased by a brother, Gregory "Cricket" Rickard. Survived by his mother, Barbara Jean Rickard of Ivy; his former wife, Joyce B. Thomas of Orange; a son, Steven Todd Thomas of Orange; two brothers, Preston Rickard Jr. and wife, Susan of Orange, and Roger Meadows and wife, Evelyn of Orange; numerous nieces; and his dog, Remi, who brought great joy to his life.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Preddy Funeral Home of Orange is assisting the family.
