Barry Stegner Obituary

Barry Michael Stegner, 43 of Delaware passed away due to an acute health condition February 20, 2026.

Barry was born on March 10, 1982 to Gary and Vickey Stegner at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He was a 2001 graduate of Buckeye Valley High School. Although he did not go on to secondary school, he had a natural talent for all things electronic and thrived while playing his online video games. Barry was a dedicated life-long Buckeyes fan and could be found watching the games with his enthusiastic commentary.

He is survived by his wife, Trista; children, Jace and Kaylie; his parents, Gary and Vickey; brother, Jeremy (Kimberly) Stegner; nephew, Zachary; grandmothers, Doris Stegner and Judith (Michael) Ford.

He is joining his grandfather A. Wayne Stegner.

Friends and family are welcome at Jeremy and Kim's any time after 3 p.m. on Tuesday March 10, 2026, to pay respects. They will be providing food and beverages.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Epilepsy Foundation in Barry's name.

The Snyder Funeral Center, Delaware Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
