FLEMINGSBURG — Connie Mae Miller Gifford, 64, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday, Jan. 13, 2025, at Hospice of Hope Care Center in Maysville.
She was the beloved daughter of the late William Lindsey and Christine Welch Miller.
She was born on Dec. 15, 1960, in Maysville.
Connie worked for Green Toki Manufacturing for many years and Guardian Automotive in quality control.
She absolutely adored her children and grandchildren, who were the pride and joy of her life.
Connie enjoyed playing cards, doing word searches, and spending time with her family and friends.
No matter where she went, Connie left a lasting impression on everyone she encountered. Never meeting a stranger, she was the social butterfly of the family. If you met her once, you would never forget her. Connie could light up a room with her infectious smile, contagious laugh and her compassion that she conveyed for others.
Devoted to her family and friends, Connie was one of the most altruistic, generous, kindhearted people you would ever know. She will be missed tremendously by all who knew and loved her.
Those left here to carry on her loving legacy are her husband and best friend of 46 years, Dale Gifford; children, William Roger (Amanda Williamson) Gifford, Crystal Gifford (Robert Barnett), Daniel Wisecup; grandchildren, Matthew (Briana), Alex, Kate, Dylan, Johnathon, Bailey, Jorja; great grandchildren; Thatcher and Serenity; sisters, Debbie, Patty; brother, Mark (Linda), Sister in laws, Sue, Mary Jane and Roxanne( Kevin); several brother in laws, nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of wonderful friends.
Connie is preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Penny, Maggie, and brother Billy.
A memorial visitation will be held to celebrate Connie's life on Saturday, Jan. 18, 2025. Family and friends are welcome from 1-3 p.m. at Palmer Funeral Home and Crematory in May's Lick.
