Pearl Welsh passed away on March 2, 2026, at the age of 93, in Delaware, Ohio. Pearl was born November 22, 1932, in Perrysville, Pennsylvania, to Victor and Katherine Maleski.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Richard, her parents, five siblings, sons Eric and Rick, and granddaughter Louise. She is survived by her children, Keith (Amy) Welsh (Colorado), and Melanie (Brent) Kitchens (Washington). She was known as "Nana" to nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She enjoyed knitting, cooking, classical music, and playing with the First Presbyterian Church bell choir into her 80's. Along with her family, she mostly enjoyed being active outdoors, hiking, fishing, hunting, and playing with her dogs.
Thank you to Willow Brook Village and Tranquility Hospice for their care in Pearl's last days. Pearl was laid to rest at Allegheny County Memorial Park, Pennsylvania.

Pearl was my mom and dads neighbor on Senate Ave. She was a funny kind woman that I will remember fondly. My parents were Jim and Peggy Hynek.
