I had the privilege of spending time with my Great, great uncle Darrel at his home in Utah. He loved to dance to Elvis Presley and sing tunes as he drove us around town showing us all the sights to see. I wish I could have known him longer. He was such a blessing and had such a soft kind soul. Uncle Darrel you truly will be missed. uncle Darrel was so encouraging to me, he told me all about his life and of courses my aunt Vivian. He gave 110% of himself to those that he loved. He made a huge mark on my life, he will forever be remembered as a giving, humble man who loved the Lord and loved his family. Until we meet again, love you uncle Darrel.

I have so many memories of uncle Daryl coming to visit but if I had to pick it would be the time when the three brothers Roland Vertis and Daryl came and stayed at my house for a night as they were on their way to Corning it was just the four of us we cooked together and enjoyed this special time they were as light hearted as young boys I can´t remember a more fun time they were off the next morning after a big country breakfast when they returned I got to hear all their tales visiting their childhood home together it was full of laughter love and joy
