Donald Kennedy Obituary

Donald Christopher Kennedy, known as Chris Kennedy, age 62, passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2025 in Kalispell, Montana. He has reunited with his mom and dad, Ann and Don Kennedy.

Chris graduated from Madison Valley High School in Ennis, Montana, and then went into the Naval nuclear power school and served on the USS Carl Vinson. After serving in the Navy, Chris lived in Dillon, Montana for 25 years and worked as a CNA at the local nursing home. He made such a difference in many senior citizens' lives. He then moved to Kalispell and semi-retired, working at Walmart.

Chris loved to collect antique postage stamps, flags, crystals, and anything "different". He enjoyed hiking; Fan Mountain in Ennis, Montana was his favorite when he was growing up. Another favorite hike was Lone Pine near Kalispell with his sister, Nancy, and other various hikes in the Kalispell area. Chris also loved to do karaoke at Spinnaker's Bar in Lakeside, Montana, with his sister Nancy and friends. His favorite songs were "Nothing Else Matters" by Metallica and a duet with Nancy, singing "Hotel California". He also enjoyed being pampered and visiting with all of the ladies at Crevier's Beauty School; he was so loved and accepted there. His quirky personality won over a lot of hearts in Kalispell.

Chris is survived by his sisters Mary Hoffman, Ginger Garrison, Nancy Mehring, and Barbara Cervelli; brother, David Kennedy. He is also survived by nieces Valerie Lockhart, Sally Alzahir, and Nicole Mehring.

Chris is now at peace and will be sadly missed.
