Resident of Walnut Creek
It is with great sadness that the family of Phyllis Henshaw announce her passing on July 17, 2018 near her home in Walnut Creek following a brief illness. Phyllis was predeceased by her loving husband of 50 years Victor Henshaw, and by her sister Virginia Parris. Phyllis will be fondly remembered by her daughter Laura (David) Patterson, her brother Dick (Ines) Souder and his family, and her many friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Peace Lutheran Church, 3201 Camino Tassajara in Danville with Pastor Steve Harms presiding. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Veterans of Foreign Wars, The Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, your local Humane Society, or your favorite charity. Phyllis went through life with a smile in her heart, and the admonishment to not take ourselves too seriously.
