Carrie Drager Obituary

Funeral service for Carrie Drager, age 69, of Farwell, Texas, is scheduled for 1:30 PM, Friday, January 24, 2025 at St. John Lutheran Church in Lariat, Texas with Pastor Will Rose of Lariat
officiating. Burial will be in Rhea Cemetery. Carrie went home to Jesus on Thursday, January 16, 2025 in Farwell. She was born March 18, 1955 in Clovis, New Mexico to Adolf and Mildred (Pieman) Haseloff. She married Samuel Drager in Lariat on January 2, 1976.

Carrie taught 2nd grade in Texico, New Mexico for 30 years. She loved to sew and to cook, always having a seat at her table and warm meal for friends and family. Carrie also enjoyed decorating for Christmas. She was a devoted mother and wife for life, and her grandkids were her favorites. Carrie loved her family and her church. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Lariat. She is preceded in death by her husband, Samuel; her parents; and a brother, Michael Haseloff.


Carrie is survived by her three sons, Cody Drager of Muleshoe, Texas, Eric Drager and his wife, Marissa of Bridgeport, Texas and Zane Drager of Bridgeport, Texas; her daughter, LaMicah James and her husband, Quincy of Farwell, Texas; a sister, Margaret Beavers and her husband, Eugene of Laguna Vista, Texas; three brothers, Richard Haseloff and his wife, Pam of Wolfforth, Texas, James Haseloff and his wife, Vickey of Farwell, Texas and Gary Haseloff and his wife, Lorie of Farwell, Texas; her sister-in-law, Pamela Haseloff; and her five grandchildren, Ethan Drager, Maddox Drager, Mason Drager, Jackson Prewett and Maesa Drager.
