We celebrated your life in a beautiful way yesterday, mama. So many people came out to say their goodbyes and tell us how much you meant to them. We miss you and love you xxx

Ruby was so much more than a neighbor and family friend. She was there when my mother in-law was a little girl, when my in-laws married, when my husband was born, when my husband and I married and when all three of my children were born which is why she is known as Grandma Ruby. Ruby was so special and she knew I´ve always considered her to be my idol as I often told her that I want to be just like her when I grow up. She will forever be deeply missed and may she now rest in peace with Grandpa Sam xoxo

I loved Aunt Ruby´s smile, her warm welcome, and her amazing stories. I always looked forward to our visits. I remember Aunt Ruby hosting the best family parties!
She always asked about me, my husband, and my kids, how everyone was doing, and about the specifics she knew about our/their lives. She asked about my horses, the specific sports the kids were in, how their college experience was going, and what they did for work as they grew older. I loved hearing the stories she shared of growing up with her siblings in Arkansas. She liked to share the shenanigans my Pops and his brothers would pull! She shared it with such joy and fond memories that you could feel the love she had for her family, her children, her grandchildren, and those around her.
I loved that Aunt Ruby would comment on my Facebook posts with a story of her own and how she related to my experience. If it was a horse post, she shared about their horse growing up, if it was my kids or family getting together, she shared a story about a family get together.
No matter how much time went between visits, it always felt like I had seen her yesterday.
Her faith was never ceasing and she showed Jesus´s love through her interactions with others.
I know there was a big celebration in heaven when Aunt Ruby arrived home to be with Jesus.
Aunt Ruby has always been and will always be one of my favorite people.
