Gabe and Michael, We will always remember your mother and dad; one funny thing we recall is that Rogelio must have worn the same pants to the Palma football games and your mother always tried to get him to wear another pair of pants, but that became a fun thing to tease and talk about at all the games--we have no proof
they were the same pants or not, but your dad was always taking it in stride. When we leave Oak Hills and see
the area you lived, we always think about each of you and how you affected our family in such a wonderful way.
Lovingly remembering your dad and your mother. Sandy and Tom Tebbs

Mr. APARICIO
I'm always going to Remember you, always!! I was about to call you, but I noticed I lost your number and I decided to look at the yellow pages online and that's when I noticed what happened!! My heart broke In pieces!!
I was Mr. Aparicio student in Washington Middle School. I have so many memories! He used to ask me to sing for him amor eterno de Juan Gabriel he loved that song!! And chile abanero!! He gave me some one day and was laughing at me!! That was spicy! He was a very strict teacher but a very very good teacher!! One day he said he was going to be absent for a couple of months, he said I don't know when I'm coming back but I'm going to " alomejor en unos caballos Blancos con tuna carreta o one day I'm just going g to stand In the door is going to be a surprise!!" You guys are going to have one Homework only one! And Believe me no se me va a olvidar hee!! He came back just like he said he was going to One day we just saw him standing in the door looking at us!! And just right before the class finished he asked for the Homework!! That day I was the only one who did it!! I remember him smiling at me like he was so proud of me. I didn't know he was sick! After I graduated from middle school I was still in contact with him for many years! I wish I had the opportunity to talk to him at least one more time! I called him but no one answered! I just wish I could sing to him for at least the last time!

HOW WE MET -
I met Rogelio at the American Legion where my sister, Gloria introduced me
to him, since there was a DJ playing everyone was dancing, my sister informed me that Rogelio was a good dancer and why didnt I go ask him to dance.
Since I liked to dance, I walked over to his table and asked him if he wanted to dance, he said no, I walked back to my table and informed my sister that he said no, she was confused and said that he always danced, I said not with me.
The following week back at the American Legion, with my sister, again a DJ was playing everyone dancing, Rogelio came over this time to my table and asked me to dance, I thought now it is my turn, and I said NO !
He grabbed my arm and said, you know you want to dance with me, stop acting like you dont like me, I got up and we danced.
Since that day, we started dating and were forever together.
When he became ill, We talked a lot about our relationship and I told him that if things were the other way around, I know He would of taken care of me.
I always told him, that I wanted to grow old with him and I looked forward to the privilege of growing old and holding hands.
But he was suffering so much and had so many battles, that the Lord called him home to rest, Rogelio left me with many good memories that We both shared together. He is now at rest, I love you and good bye.

TO THE FAMILY -
He fought a long and hard battle with his illness, but every step of the way his faith never left him for he knew his Lord would always be at his side. He was a faithful servant of the Lord and the Lord saw that his battles were getting harder and harder for him to fight, it was time to call him home. Rest now, for your day is done, he is finally at peace and going home to rest.

I worked with Rogelio at Washington Middle School. I smile when I think of him and I think that's a lovely way to be remembered. I only wish that his last years had been easier for him and his family. Accept my love and wishes that you dwell on all the happy memories of him.
