I was deeply saddened to hear that my singing partner, Bob Zuck from the 1980s, had passed away. I have so many memories of all the places we traveled throughout Michigan. In the corners of little pubs to the stages at ski resorts up north. Fenton Rd. Tavern & Ramada Inns. Thank you for the memories old friend. Here is a picture of our business card.

Johnny Rocks

So sad to hear the news this is Johnny Rocks and I had the honor of playing bass for Zucko in the Zuckotones and Zucko and the Wild Katz. Zucko and I also had a duo act for a short period of time and I met Bob and began jamming with him prior to being old enough to be in the bars. We had a lot of great times and I have a lot of great memories. The last time we played together was for his 70 birthday at Brian Sepanik“s home. My daughter managed to catch us playing Mustang Sally and it was with Zucko, Pauly Vert, Danny Robertson and Butch Gammett it was awesome! RIP Zucko I will truly miss one of my great friends!
Zucko and I used to tell each other Hanna Wanna Heena (music is my life) Hanna wanna Tuna ( music is my life too... and Patty Melts for everyone... is Patty here? No she melted... RIP my friend!

I grew up next door to Bob on Copeman Blvd Flint. Bob was 5 years older than me. Bob always treated me with kindness. He would practice his saxophone upstairs which was directly across the driveway from my bedroom. As a teenager he was an accomplished musician. I have many good memories of Bob being one of the older kids on the block. RIP Bob Zuck and thanks for being such a nice person.
