Edith Tobia Obituary

Edith Tobia, age 83, of Brick Township, NJ passed away peacefully on October, 10  2025. Born on October 3, 1942 and raised in Newark, NJ  she relocated to Point Pleasant Beach to raise her family, and later to Brick Township. She was a parishioner of St. Dominic’s RC Church.  Edith lived a long and full life marked by devotion to her family.


Edith is predeceased by her husband Frank with whom she shared 57 years of marriage and is lovingly remembered by her surviving children; Helen, Frank N. Tobia & Jennifer; and James Tobia & Emily; her grandchildren, Frank M., Adriana, Daniel and Maggie Tobia; her sister-in-law, Angela Tobia; her aunt, Joan Volante and several nieces and nephews residing in New Jersey, Florida, Nevada and California. 


Edith endured the profound loss of family members during her lifetime. She is predeceased by her daughter Edith Ann Tobia; granddaughter Gabriella M. Tobia; her parents James and Edith Randazzo; her brother James Randazzo and sister Josephine Grippaldi.


Edith retired from Prudential Life Insurance after 25 years and continued selling real estate locally as an agent with Coldwell Banker, Gloria Nilson, and Childers Sotheby’s Realty. 


Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. 



The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers during this time. Services are private.
