Curtis Dorsey Obituary
He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Kenneth Dorsey Sr. and Leonard Davis Sr. He leaves behind his special friend, Anbar Khal; son, Zoran; father, Curtis Dorsey Sr.; mother, Renee Dorsey; brother, Craig Cross; sister, Kieara (Antoine) Christopher; grandmothers, Lucille Dorsey and June (Clarence) Martin; three nieces; three nephews; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family, and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on February 1, 2025, at Veirs Mill Baptist Church, 12221 Veirs Mill Road, Silver Spring, MD 20906. The viewing will take place from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM, followed by the service at 11:30 AM.
Curtis will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of encountering him. Curtis Dorsey Jr.

I meet Curtis "Bishop" through our love of the game at the local YMCA. We had a free agent team and we were struggling , Bishop came up to me and said you have space you need me ! Boy was he right he brought a new energy to the team in so many ways . but above basketball I was blessed like so many other to get to know him and that is the best thing ! From that moment on in 2017 I was blessed to get to know the caring , basketball loving and just a good person.
He had this ability to bring so many people together and would always check in and see how the Fam was. Im thankful I got t know Curtis and see his impact to the community . Shine Bright Bishop I know every time I step foot in the Y or Ellazzo you be watching down on us and miss you and your shining personality
