Georgia Tucker Obituary

Georgia Hawkins Tucker, 98, from Jefferson, died peacefully at Buckingham's Choice Friday, October 24, 2025.

She was the loving wife of Wayne Z. Tucker (deceased) for 65 years. Georgia was born in Etchison, Maryland, September 6, 1927. After marriage to Wayne, she joined him on the family farm and worked alongside him for many years. She remained on the farm until her passing.

Georgia was a lifelong member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jefferson along with involvement in many other organizations. She was devoted to her church, family, her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren who were her joy.

She is survived by her daughter Gail Miglio (Pat), daughter-in-law Sandra Tucker, grandchildren: Justin Tucker (Mary-Kate), Rebecca Tucker (Tommy), Nadine Galvin, Adam Miglio, and great-grandchildren Adrienne, Meeghan and Mia Grace Tucker, Louisa and Cora Galvin and baby boy Phelps due in March 2026. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, her son Stanley Tucker her brother Clyde Hawkins, sisters Doris Gue and Virgina Isaacs, and nephew Ronald Gue and Terry Testa.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Friday, October 31, 2025 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1100 North Maple Avenue in Brunswick, Maryland.

A celebration of Georgia's life journey will take place at 11:00 am on Friday, October 31, 2025, at the funeral home. Interment will follow services at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery in Jefferson, Maryland.
