Sharon Davis Obituary

KAUKAUNA, Wisconsin – Sharon Kay Davis, 81, passed away on Friday, May 16, 2025, in Kaukauna, Wisconsin.
Sharon was born in Waterloo, Iowa on February 24, 1944. Throughout her lifetime, Sharon lived in a number of states in the US, her favorites being Iowa, Wisconsin, and Colorado.
While Sharon was known for her private nature, she was deeply passionate about her hobbies and interests. Sharon was an enthusiastic sports fan, with a love for football, road cycling, and curling. Sharon also had a profound affinity for old-time movies, reading, and her cats. In her later years, she found solace tending to a wildflower garden in northern Wisconsin. Sharon spent many hours appreciating the wildlife drawn to her wildflowers.
Sharon is survived by her children: Daniel (Fatimah Masales) Stripes, Debra (Larry) Coenen, Denise (Lee) Gassner, and Edward (Josie) Kenney II; nine grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Margaret Davis; and her grandson, Joseph Zuehlke.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Forest County Humane Society in Crandon, Wisconsin, or the Iowa Humane Alliance - ITRAP Services in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, reflecting her love for animals and her broader community connections.
Valley Funeral Home, Appleton, Wisconsin, is assisting the family.
