Irene Crutcher Obituary
Irene was born May 30, 1931 in Gillespie County, Texas to Gustav and Cora Evers Basse.
Irene married John W. Crutcher on Aug. 30, 1958 at Holy Ghost Lutheran Church.
Irene is survived by three children and their spouses: David and Lori Crutcher of Austin
Alan Crutcher of Fredericksburg
Carlin and Lisa Crutcher of Sycamore, Illinois
Six Grandchildren and spouses: Anna and Dustin Wiegers
Gustav, Samuel, Max, Emily and Olivia Crutcher
Two great-grandchildren: Avery and Hadley Wiegers
Sister-in-law: Dorothy, Mrs. Roscoe Basse of Fredericksburg
Along with her husband and parents, Irene was preceded in death by a brother, Roscoe Basse.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Feb. 6, at 11 a.m. at Holy Ghost Lutheran Church with the Rev. Steve Qualben officiating.
Graveside services and interment will be held on Monday, Feb. 10, at 1 p.m., in Fort Smith National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Visitation for Irene Crutcher will be held on Thursday, Feb. 6, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Holy Ghost Lutheran Church prior to the service.
Memorial contributions may be made in Irene's name to Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, or to the charity of your choice.
