Aaron Bernard Cox, 56, passed away on January 18, 2018 in Pueblo, Colorado. Mr. Cox was born on June 30, 1961 to Ezra and Annie (Montgomery) Cox in Atlanta, Ga. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother; J.T. Brown, a sister; Marva Cox, and a great granddaughter Mya Kuntz.
Mr. Cox proudly served and retired from the United States Army. He was a truck driver for First Fleet at the time of his passing. He enjoyed woodworking, exercising, traveling, basketball and spending time with his family.
Mr. Cox is survived by his wife, Velma Marie Cox; his children, Aaron Cox, Jr., Marcus Cox, Lewis Cox, and Michael Cox; his step-children, Tanya Davis, Lance Isom, Zundra Moore, and Antonio Royston; sisters, Ruth Vance, Gloria Cox-Bland, Vena Cox-Bradley, and Carolyn Cox; nine grandchildren and a host of loving relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday at Angelus Chapel, from 4:00 - 7:00 pm and the Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 9:30 am at Angelus Chapel Funeral Directors, 1104 S. Circle Drive, Colorado Springs. Mr. Cox will be laid to rest at Ft. Logan National Cemetery in Denver at 12:15 pm on Thursday.
