AARON JOSEPH SCOTT RICKETTS
January 19th, 1992 September 15, 2018
It is with great sadness that the family of Aaron Joseph Scott Ricketts announce his passing, after he obtained injuries in an automobile accident. He passed away on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at the age of 26 years.
Aaron was born on January 19th, 1992. He is survived by his son, Kenyon Ricketts; his parents, Beverly and Robert Mays; William and Dawn Ricketts; his brothers, Jeremy, Joshua, Zachary Ricketts; his sisters, Venessa and Allanah Ricketts; his nieces and nephews, Vaneka, JD, Taylor, Kaylee, Kyndi, Khloe and Adalyn; as well as numerous other family and friends.
Aaron leaves this world far too early and with much unfinished business. His departure leaves the world a little worse off and his family a little more lost. He was an unbelievably kind soul, a beautiful golden heart and a loving father. Words cannot be used to explain how big a hole his passing leaves. However, his words, smiles, laughs, and contagious optimism will forever speak to the character of Aaron Joseph Scott Ricketts.
In lieu of flowers we
are asking for donations to a savings for his son, Kenyon being accepted at Farmers State Bank at 719-347-2727, through the Aaron Ricketts benefit account for Kenyon Ricketts.
Memorial services will be held at the Living Word Church at 532 Colorado Ave, Calhan, CO on Saturday, September 22nd at 11:00am with a lunch served afterword. We invite you to join the family and celebrate the loving friend, family, brother, son and father, Aaron Joseph Scott Ricketts.

Im so sorry for your loss. Aaron was a good man i remember watching him grow up since my daughters went to school with him. He was an outstanding athlete! I would run into him at walmart and we would talk for probably an hour mostly about children we had the same thing in common when i was younger i was a single dad raising my girls and he was doing the same he was so happy he had the chance to raise his kids! I know he is in a better place and will be watching and guiding his children forever!

You are very beautiful the whole Ricketts family. I just received information about Aaron one and a half hours ago. He will always be in my prayers and those prayers are everyday of my life. The last time I had seen Aaron he was 5 years old and to hear this today puts a stone in my throat. The Ricketts family has brought so much good into my life and I still use it all to this day you do not deserve any kind of loss being the family that you are. Your family was there for me in my car accident 27 years ago and I will be there for your family tomorrow and everyday after that. I say a prayer every time I'm in a vehicle all together I have been in 31 car accidents and over 40 bicycle and motorcycle accidents. Life is so beautiful and that's why I say a prayer every day and that's why Aaron will be in my prayers everyday. We love the whole Ricketts family and if there's anything that you need please do not hesitate to ask! that is why I am here.

Aaron was a great man. He was there for me when I had no one. Thank you all, to Aaron's family. this isn't easy for anyone who knew him at all. You will be missed dearly brother... I'll see you again...
