Aaron Dickinson Rossin obituary

Aaron Rossin Obituary

Aaron was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado where he attended Doherty High School. He then moved to Boulder, Colorado where he attended the University of Colorado Leeds Business School. He worked for Amante Coffee in Boulder after college and then moved to Denver where he last worked for the Colorado Convention Center as an Exhibitor Services Representative. Aaron had many talents but he loved to participate in Colorado outdoor activities. He was an experienced skier, kayaker, hiker, golfer and mountain biker, but his real passion was rock climbing and bouldering. He was an active participant in the Access Fund, an organization that promotes keeping climbing areas open and preserving the climbing environment. Aaron was a great kid and will be missed enormously by his parents Mark and Diane Rossin, his brother Adam (Denver), his grandparents Dallas and Joanne Dickinson (Colorado Springs), his uncles Douglas Dickinson (Los Angeles), Steven, Eric and Neil Rossin (Ohio) and his aunts Karen Gamracy (Kamloops, BC) and Carol Rossin (Toledo, Ohio) and numerous cousins. A celebration of Aaron's life will be held on Wednesday, August 26 at 1:00 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 219 E. Bijou St., Colorado Springs. Contributions can be made in memory of Aaron Rossin to the Access Fund, P.O. Box 17010, Boulder, CO 80308.

My prayers go out to the Rossin family. Aaron and Jimmy and I began our journey together our 4th grade year, a journey that would last many years. Aaron was the life of the group. He just seemed to love and embrace life in a way that I have seen few be able to. We sort of lost touch in high school and college but when I heard the news I was stricken with pain that can only come from loosing someone so special. Aaron many will miss you but none will forget you. May God bring comfort to the family.

On behalf of myself and my son, Neil Murray, we are so very sorry to hear about Aaron's passing. My heart and prayers go out to you. About 10 years ago there was a couple of times when I drove Neil and Aaron to the swimming pool or the climbing gym. I remember Aaron as a very nice, funny and smart young man who impressed me very much. I know he will be missed greatly. God Bless.

My earliest memories of Aaron are seeing him in Mr. Becker’s class in the 6th grade. He was a small kid with a bowl haircut. We remained friends all through high school. He prided himself on how fast he could wash his Isuzu Trooper at the car wash up the street from Doherty. He never paid more than 1.75, and he was always finished inside 3 minutes. We didn’t speak much in college, but when we would bump into each other around Denver, we could have a conversation as though we planned on it. I think I can speak for everybody when I say Aaron had great personality, a unique smile, and could always make you laugh. I can honestly say I never saw him upset our angry. Aaron, you where a cool dude, an all around great guy, a man of extraordinary character, and a friend I will never forget.

We met Aaron through our daughter, Katie. I even got to dance with him! Aaron was funny, charming, and willing to take on a challenge. He's made many friends and many lasting memories for everyone he knew. We are very sorry for your loss.

Aaron was my nephew and my friend. I will remember all the special times...boogie boarding at Zuma Beach, skiing the back bowls of Vail and many rounds of golf. I had the pleasure to see him grow up to be a great young man. Aaron had a sweet gentle soul and will never be forgotten.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. My memories of Aaron are very happy times with he and Jonathan in middle school.
Aaron was always so funny and brought life to every gathering. He and Jon had such a close friendship in Sunday school and at church camps. It seemed like they were always together during those years.
The loss of a child must be the most painful of all. I will pray for love and comfort from God for all of you.
Love and prayers to your family.

I worked at Dazbog with Aaron back in 2007. Although we didn't work in the same store, he was very sweet and friendly whenever we crossed paths at meetings. When Aaron moved on to the Convention Center, he occasionally came in my store for coffee; always said hello to me, and always had a smile on his face.

My most sincere and heartfelt condolences for your loss. It was much too soon.

I just started at the Convention Center about a year ago and I came to know Aaron right away. He was so outgoing and nice to me from the beginning. I loved it when he came in because he always stopped by my desk and brightened my day. I had to tease him about his breakfast of choice - a Pepsi and a piece of candy! I will truly miss his smiling face! My thoughts and prayers are with your family. God Bless.
