News Death Notice
THOMAS, Ad Age 66 went to be with the Lord on Thursday January 21, 2010. He was born May 17, 1943 to the late Earnest and Liza Thomas in Senatobia MS. He moved to Dayton in 1966 and worked for Sukers Packing Co. He later worked for Teamster local 957 as a truck driver, and retired after 34 years of service. He leaves to cherish his memory of a loving wife Naomi Thomas of 42 years, 1 daughter Dewanda Napier, and three sons, Randy, Earnest Ray of Saudi Arabia, and AB Thomas of Illinois. Three sisters, Alberts (Richard) Smith, Mary (Howard) Huffman all of Dayton, and Geneva (Robert) Hibler of Senatabia MS. two brothers, Roosevelt Thomas of Memphis Tenn., and Edmond (Frances) Thomas of Dayton, six grand children and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral Service will be held at 12 noon Friday January 29, 2010 at McLin Funeral Home 2801 N. Gettysburg Ave. Pastor William Cox officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service.

AD will be missed dearly, he knew no strangers he was a friend to everyone. I remember all the times we laughed and he gave advise calling me a chicken acting like a rooster...lol. I will missed that ear in the time of uncertainties.
