Adelyn Aquila Obituary

May 6, 1923-January 29, 2008. Adelyn Aquila passed away on January 29, 2008. She was born in Coal Creek, Colorado. She lived in Pueblo until 1947 when she married husband Joe Aquila. Adelyn was a meticulous homemaker and devoted wife and mother. She raised three sons while her husband pursed a career in retailing. In 1995 Adelyn and Joe moved to Colorado Springs and have been here since. She is survived by her husband Joe, sons and wives Mike and Lori, Jerry and Gail, Ron and Liz, grandchildren Chelsy, Cassi and husband Matt, Joseph, Zoe, great grandchildren Candace and Haylie, niece Gloria and husband Mike. Adelyn touched many lives with her love, kindness and wonderful sense of humor. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. A visitation is scheduled for Sunday, February 3, 2008, from 2:00-5:00 p.m. Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 4, 2008 at Swan-Law Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Arthritis Foundation or Penrose Main Hospital.
