Adolfo Zavala passed away on April 24, 2020. He was born in San Juan, Texas on September 27, 1932. Adolfo was married for 65 years to Angelita Zavala, who preceded him in death last year. Adolfo was retired from the United States Army and worked in Civil Service at Fort Carson. Adolfo most enjoyed spending time with his grandkids.
Adolfo is survived by his children, Richard, Adolfo Jr., Amelia and Arlene; 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; siblings, Ruben Zavala, Adela Evans, Roberto Zavala, Alfredo Zavala and Rita Allen. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Belinda; and sisters, Alicia Suarez and Gloria Martinez.

I would like to give my upmost condolences to the Zavala family during this loss of a great man. I will always keep close to my heart the memories that I have of Adolfo All the amazing stories he told me of his life experiences and the example of a great family man he displayed shall I never forget. I will also remember the fun times when Adolfo and Angie would visit my family in San Antonio and the hospitable warmth felt when we visited them in the Springs. I always felt like we were family to him. Rest in Peace Adolfo and we will visit again. May God Bless all of you during this difficult time. Michael J Esquivel (NATIVE OF THE SPRINGS).
