Thinking of you, Dorothy and Christian.

I am very sorry to learn of Chaplain Alan's passing and send my condolences to Dorothy and the family. As a Hospitalist physician for 11 years (1997-2008) in the Penrose-St.Francis system, he was the most esteemed person representing the chaplaincy on our multidisciplinary team as he ministered to the spiritual and emotional needs of our patients and their families in ways that complemented all of our medical efforts. I am grateful and will never forget him!

While doing CPE I got a chance to minister alongside Alan, and I was truly blessed. My heart goes out to you as you mourn his passing.
