Dear Havens family: May the words and memories of friends and loved ones be very close to you at this deepest time of sorrow to comfort you in remembering a great selfless man who helped others every good and bad day of his life. Alan was a dedicated father, husband, and grandfather. Thank you for sharing Alan with me for the time we were together...he taught me many vital life lessons and inspired me to help others in hope of improving the world around us. Alan had overcome several adversities which made him strong in character and I am honored and proud to call him my friend...I know he did leave this world a better place than he found it! May your spirit rest in peace dearest Alan and may God bless you and all those who are missing you with their hearts and souls...May you find your way and ride on that Harley forever

You had just celebrated your 35 birthday, and I my 39 when we first met and we had a blast playing some jams in the office trailer. You had a huge impact on my life and you need to know how much that meant to me. For someone to lose so much in such a short time and still kept your head up and your smile on and that just proves just how special you are! I know your spirit will be with me and my you Rest In Peace my dear friend!

We've known Alan for over 20 years. He helped us a great deal with various projects and problems. He was always working. And we also played together singing and enjoying life. His journey was a strong one, may he rest in peace.
