Alan M. Peterson, 74, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, September 9, 2024, with his family by his side.
Born on June 10, 1950, in Lincoln, Nebraska, to Elmer and Betty Peterson, Alan lived a life full of faith, love, and adventure.
Alan's faith was the foundation of his life, guiding every step he took. He strived to have a servant's heart in all he did, living with kindness, humility, and a deep commitment to helping others.
Alan is lovingly remembered by his wife, Dee; his three children, Becky Vidro (Greg), Amanda Peterson, and Jesse Peterson; his sister, Lisa Peterson; and his six grandchildren, Brittney, Aliya, Caleb, Malachi, Devon, and Caitlyn. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Betty Peterson.
A celebration of Alan's life will be held at Rock of Ages Lutheran Church, 120 N 31st, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80904. A viewing will take place at 10 a.m., followed by the service at 11 a.m. Flowers and/or donations may be made to Rock of Ages Lutheran Church, reflecting Alan's commitment to his faith and community.

To Alan´s Family, Alan was a very special man, who met with us numerous times from his investment job. Both my deceased parents, and my deceased husband and myself fully trusted him with financial guidance. He was truly a loving Christian man and extremely personable. Dear Dee and Family, I don't really know how to express my thoughts to you at this time. I just wanted to let you know how very much I thought of and admired Alan. He was always a ray of sunshine when he would call, I miss those telephone calls. He spoke so lovingly about you Dee and always had good things to say about everyone.
